Size: 3 and 1/8th” diameter
Finished in a warm bronze brass tone with beautifully aged patina and an integrated hanging loop at the top for wall display. The original 1928 Olympic medal design was created by Swiss artist Arnold Hünerwadel. This large-format example appears to have been produced as a commemorative/display piece rather than as an athlete’s competition medal.
Wonderful piece of early Winter Olympics, St. Moritz, Swiss sporting and Art Deco memorabilia. Vintage condition with age-related patina, surface wear and oxidation as shown. Please review all photographs for condition.
