Vintage Ormolu Oval Filigree Jewelry Box with Beveled Glass Lid

Size: 4 in wide
Era: Mid century
Condition: Good vintage condition with patina

This vintage ormolu jewelry box is an oval filigree casket with a gilt metal body and a hinged beveled glass lid. The sides are pierced with a floral medallion pattern and framed by engraved leaf borders, with a serrated edge around the lid and ornate scrolled feet. The inside is lined with tan velvet, and the size works well as a trinket box for rings, earrings and small keepsakes.

Maker and exact age are unknown; likely mid century.

Good vintage condition with patina and light wear to the gilt finish, consistent with age. Please review photos closely.
