Each piece features an elaborate raised floral design with dimensional roses, blossoms, berries and scrolling foliage arranged in a graceful curved garland. The design has a wonderful French Rococo / Louis XV Revival aesthetic, making these particularly attractive architectural or furniture embellishments.
Each mount has holes at the elongated ends for attachment. The reverse sides retain their rough, unfinished cast surfaces, while the fronts display a warm aged gold/brass finish with natural variation and patina.
Originally intended as decorative furniture hardware, these could be used for restoration of a vintage cabinet, commode, dresser, chest, mirror or other furniture, or repurposed as decorative architectural accents.
Set includes all three matching pieces shown.
Good vintage condition with minor age-related patina, oxidation, surface wear, and casting irregularities. Please review all photographs closely for exact condition.
Exact maker, country of manufacture and age are unknown. Purchased from an antique market in the Netherlands.
